More caracters on text forms on request

I'd like to choose on my own responsibility if I want to add more characters in a text so that I don't loose so much time trying to resume what I need to say.
Sometimes it is frustrating for just 3 letters I need to rewrite the entire period!
It is absolutely the most boring thing of this software.
